It was another nondescript week in Week 12 as we went 7-7 ATS, and lost both our Upset Specials with the 49ers and Buccaneers. Our Week 13 card does not include Denver at Minnesota, which has no line pending the status of Adrian Peterson. It would be hard to go against the Tebow Magic regardless.
– The Eagles are officially done and they now fly three time zones on a short week. Love those Thursday night Upset Specials.
– The Bills would have upset the Jets if Steve Johnson didn’t shoot himself in the foot and we still do not think that the 6-5 Titans are for real.
The Top two National Hockey League trends from Saturdays card on ice offers up one home team and one road dog with substancial value.
Fading road teams (Islanders) that are comin off a road win by one goal, playing with 3 or more days rest has been ridiculously good over the last five Hockey seasons. The trend is 35-10 over that span and the bias is 1-1 this season. The 78% proposition has substancial value considering that the Stars are but a -150 favorite on home ice Saturday night.
Backing road underdogs (Habs) in a game involving two clubs that are averaging less than 2.5 goals per game on the season has been a solid money maker when the oddsmakers set the visiting dog between +125 and +150 on the money line.
The rivalry between San Diego State Aztecs and Fresno State Bulldogs will resume when they face each other for the first time since 2002. Fresno State will be joining the Mountain West next year, and as long as they remain in the same league, these two teams will be playing annually. Fresno State lost their last matchup against San Jose State in a 27-24 nail-biter. Matt Faulkner passed for 363 yards and two second-half touchdowns as San Jose beat Fresno State last weekend. Meanwhile San Diego State defeated UNLV thanks to the stellar play of Ronnie Hillman. Hillman ran for 192 yards and two touchdowns to prevent the UNLV comeback and ensure the victory.

Weekend Wager
I thought it would be apt to provide one last weekend wager prediction of the season for the big Champion’s league final on Saturday night.
It’s ‘ard to Pique winner
In all honesty I’m finding it Gerard to Pique a winner at the moment which is why I will clutch desperately at horrendous puns in order to avoid having to make a prediction. If I was forced to Iniesta fiver on either side it would be placed hesitantly on United as they are marginally better value and are somewhat used to the Wembley turf.
