Why must my forum posts, blog entries, and photo gallery submissions be approved before they can be viewed by members?

In order to prevent spamming and unwanted content we have no choice but to screen and approve all member submitted content. We do this in order to provide our members with the best experience possible without exposing them to links to undesirable web sites or content that is not in line with the purpose of our site.
