Hey all!  Any of you that have read Matt and J’s raw blog you know that I, Matt, have a great disdain for TNA Wrestling. Where do I begin…I have no idea…so i’ll just rant until I feel like stopping.

First I’d like to start with this MMA crap.  If you were actually having shoot fights it would be revolutionary for wrestling and would be awesome.  Using MMA as a gimmick as part of a wrestling match is HORRIBLE.  Jeff Jarrett fake punching Crimson on Impact! made me cringe and then get angry.  It was even worse than when Bart Gunn got knocked out by Butterbean at Wrestlemania, because that was ACTUALLY REAL!!!  If you want to say a match is MMA style make a shoot or don’t do it AT ALL!

Next, let’s talk about the titles.  WWE has 2 separate brands with 2 full rosters and has 6 total titles: Tag, Divas, WWE, World, Intercontinental, and US.  TNA, who has 1 main show a week, has: World title, tag, television (legends…what a fucking joke), knockouts, womens tag, and X-Division.  How can you possibly move along storylines of 6 titles on 1 show?!?!?  It winds up being rushed, forced, and booked horribly.  Now, back when TNA was just starting, I loved it, the focus was on wrestling and not all the extemporaneous bullshit.  The X-Division will always in my mind be the most prestigious title, even though they have been burying it.  Mr. Anderson is a good champion, I hate the damn Jeff Hardy belt, but whatever, that’s being too nitpicky.  I don’t really want to get into title holders at this point so let’s move on.

Dusty Finishes.  I swear TNA does not know how have an entire show without multiple non-clean finishes.  There is CONSTANTLY interference, ref bumps, run ins, really any way to have a dusty finish, they do it.  Is it Russo? Is it Bischoff? I’m not entirely sure who to blame.  What I really don’t get is that with so much talent on the roster why they can’t just have a great wrestling show and cut out at least some of the BS.  Sure, sometimes these kinds of finishes are necessary in wrestling, but the excessive use of it in TNA is frustrating to say the least.

Let’s go over the roster and I will discuss who I think should be holding the titles, who should be feuding, who should be pushed, who should go away, and here we go.

Who should be holding each title: World Title: Mr. Anderson is a good champion, he is good on the mic, good in the ring and he brings some legitimacy to the title.  He should be feuding with Samoa Joe, D’Angelo Dinero, Kurt Angle, and Desmond Wolfe.

Television title: Give it to Crimson, the guy is a monster, has mat wrestling skills and it would be a good push for a huge athlete.  Him and Abyss could have a decent little feud and the Crimson could feud with Matt Morgan, Doug Williams, Magnus.

X-Division: Alex Shelley should have this title.  Plain and simple.  Feuds would work with Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal, Amazing Red, and Brian Kendrick.  The X-division wrestlers have all been let go to make room for washed up terrible wrestlers and that is SO frustrating.

Tag Team division.  Same problem as WWE.  Tag Team wrestling is apparently only cool in the Indies and and Japan.  This is a whole blog for another day.

I’m not gonna touch on the knockouts because I don’t really care about them, but I do appreciate the fact that they actually try to put on entertaining matches, unlike WWE divas.

Who should go away- Hogan, Bischoff, Matt and Jeff Hardy.  I’ve had enough.  They have made TNA UNWATCHABLE.  I suffered through some impacts so I could actually write a somewhat educated blog.

I know this is all over the place, but it is just frustrating looking at all the talent they let walk out the door along with all the under-utilized talent currently signed.  ECW is done, stop paying these guys to wrestle.  Stop trying to emulate NWO, it’s been done.  FIND SOMETHING NEW.

Hey TNA if you’re reading this…send Joe and Nigel back to the indie where they will get the respect they deserve.

KURT ANGLE GOTO WWE AND FEUD WITH DANIEL BRYAN…NOW…DO IT…DO IT….and I’m done.
